"Hedonia is either the food blog of an exceptional person or the personal blog of an exceptional foodie … Sean seems to accomplish more in a day than most of us could in a week,
and judging by the depth and breadth of Hedonia’s wonderful content, he
gets more cooked in a year than most of us do in a lifetime … a trip to Hedonia is a must." – TypePad Featured Blogs

"…Sean at Hedonia has been entertaining me every time I click through to his blog…Sean also has a new feature called Eatsdropper which is keeping us all entertained. Anyone can write in food-related comments that they hear out and around town. The results are very funny, and I look forward to new installments…" – Jen Maiser, Bay Area Bites

Sean, do u plan to lead any City Guide walks in Oct?

  • New to the blog but not new to this Sean you speak of. Sean on Sauce…edible eloquence. You are so incredibly talented. I just ate and you made me hungry again. Hope the new year finds you and Paul well. Having dinner with your mom on Saturday. Hope to talk soon! Love to you both.

  • Ladies and gentlemen, the above comment comes from a friend I have known for 34 years. We went to day care center together!

  • I noticed you have ‘an ice cream problem’. Perhaps we can start some sort of support group for those of us who are similarly afflicted? I too often find myself wandering to my local deli and picking up a pint of the sweet cream (haagen daaz being my favorite) – only to wake up the next day face down on the floor of my apartment with a spoon dangling out of my mouth and an empty carton by my side. Staring at food blogs several hours a day is certainly not helping matters.
Just wanted to say hello. I’ve enjoyed reading and getting more familiar with your site.

  • Sean,
Please drop me a line. I have an idea for you for your May 20th walk in my ‘hood.

  • Sean,
I just visited your great site for the first time- Cameron over at Married with Dinner just hipped me to it, and as I was browsing your links I discovered you had me linked!
Thanks very much- I’m off to return the favor!

Sean! It’s been a long time! I found you through the SF Gate culture blog. John & I just celebrated our 11th Anniversary–and I ran across a photo of you and Paul at our wedding. Fab blog! Now I know where to find you–hope you two are swell. Whatever happened to Kathy and Ozzie anyway? 🙂

Sean – I made my first batch of Pompelmo-cello and was very, very pleased. As you mentioned, the amount of sugar (less is more in this case) was perfect. Wonderous thing this Pompelmo-cello. I’m now trying a Citrus-Cello. We’ll see how this goes. I have a question for you… Have you ever tried to make a Ginger-cello? Any help would be appreciated. P.S. Let’s keep up the protest on Prop 8. Love your blog and site.

  • I just found the site! I look forward to reading more posts.
